Prayer for making the right decision

Dear Father,

Thank you that you journey with us on our pilgrimage through life. Lord, there are so many stormy paths, rocky climbs and shifting seasons and life can take many twists and turns. Yet you have promised us that you go with us, and that your Holy Spirit is within each of us, guiding our thoughts, words and actions.

Father, we come to you with the decisions we face right now, we lay out before you the different aspects, the possibilities and our fears and concerns. Help us to have wisdom in our minds and hope in hearts. Come guide us and inspire us as we seek to choose the right decision. Thank you that whichever way we go, your love always remains with us.

Amen.

O Lord,
You are my sat nav,
A voice to guide my way.
Such help on every journey,
Within my heart you reign.

You are my compass,
You lead me where to go.
